  35. Oohh noo! I'm sorry about that!  I've got absolutely no idea why it 
  36. doesn't work.  There is absolutely no reason why it shouldn't.  All 
  37. it needs is the one icon file (the one you double click).  The only 
  38. other external files it uses are SCROTAX.DATA and DEFAULT.DATA, but 
  39. neither of these are necessary and the game will load without them.  
  40. It doesn't even use fonts, so it doesn't need to look for anything 
  41. like that.

  43. Unless, of course, it has somehow been corrupted on upload, although 
  44. I doubt this?  Has anyone else got it to work OK after downloading it 
  45. from Aminet?

  47. The system I used to write it (by the way) is an Amiga 1200, 
  48. absolutely bog standard.  No other features (except hard drive).  
  49. Only 2mb memory etc etc.  I don't know exactly what software failure 
  50. means!?

  52. I did try very hard to get Scrotax to work with no need for 
  53. installing or any fiddling at all.  I thought it was just plain and 
  54. simple, easy... but then again, I suppose nothing is.

  56. If anyone else downloads Scrotax, please let me know if it works 
  57. ASAP!  I'll be away on holiday for a week from Sunday, but I'm going to keep 
  58. subscribed to the Amos mailing list anyway, so I should read all 
  59. comments!
